Megan Hodge

As Head of Student Success, Megan Hodge oversees VCU Libraries' initiatives related to the academic and holistic wellbeing of undergraduates, online learning, and curricular support for undergraduates enrolled in foundational general education courses.

Prior to serving in this role, Hodge was Teaching & Learning Librarian at VCU from 2013 to 2017 and Assistant Head for Teaching & Learning from 2017 to 2019.

She was a 2011 ALA Emerging Leader, 2014–2015 president of the ALA New Members Round Table, and served as a Councilor-at-Large for the American Library Association 2015–2018 and 2018–2021.

Her research interests focus on student success and assessment in academic libraries. Hodge was solo editor for The Future Academic Librarian's Toolkit: Finding Success on the Job Hunt and in Your First Job (ACRL, 2019).
