Bettina Peacemaker is responsible for the development, promotion and delivery of research services to upper level undergraduates, graduate students and faculty in humanities, arts, business, sciences, engineering, social sciences and public affairs. In recent years, she has been focused on developing projects to enhance subject-based outreach through communications and other strategic public relations tactics developed collaboratively with librarians, faculty and the public relations office.
Previously, she served as assistant head for the department and developed many creative and successful initiatives including Advance Your Research, a series of workshops for graduate students and advanced researchers. In earlier work, she was a social sciences and business librarian, and an assistant head for research and instructional services. Before her time at VCU, she worked at the University of Maryland University College as a 24/7 coordinator and reference and instruction Librarian.
